Jacorie McCall was elected as secretary of the Wofford Campus Union.

“I’m so honored to be elected as Wofford College next Secretary of the student body. I am proud of the campaign that was run, and I’m proud of all of the students who have put your trust in me to serve them,” said McCall.
To the Wofford student body he shared this message, “I will not let you down and I will fight with everything in me so that your voices are heard. We share a common belief that Wofford can do more, can be more and that Wofford is for all of us. I’m so happy that 1233 students voted in the Wofford College election. I’m humbled that I received 68% of the vote! I’m blessed to serve a school I love so much!”
McCall said that while he is excited but his fight for a better Dillon County has not stopped.
“This election inspires me to get involved in being a servant leader and possibly serving in our state legislator, Senate or being Dillon’s next Probate Judge. I’m ready to serve where God is leading me,” he said.
“This election showed me that opposition is a great thing, and it shows us that we may have different ideas, but we have one goal and that is a better society for everyone,” he said.
“I absolutely love Dillon County, and I’m so grateful for all it has done for me. I hope I can spend my life to give back to it,” he said.
“Most importantly I hope I can use my life as a way people can see who Jesus. I strongly believe if didn’t run, I would regret not doing it for the rest of my life. If I lost, then I will have learned more about myself than I ever imagined. If I won, I will be able to change things for the better and work hard to advocate for Wofford Student Body. Either way, I will have the opportunity to reflect the love of God to the voters, and I did just that!,” McCall said.
