At the conclusion an invitation was given.

The evening service began at 6:00 p.m. After the prelude and welcome by Pastor Harold Cooke, the service was turned over to Dr. Quinton Mills.
Once again everyone was blessed with song and the Word by Dr. Mills. He blessed the crowd with “Lily of The Valley” that remained on the religious charts for nearly two years. He has enjoyed many other hits including a song that was nominated for the gospel single of the year around 2016.
Those in attendance were captivated by Dr. Mills’ love of the Lord and his wit.
Dr. Mills gave an inspiring testimony.
Dr. Mills was the youngest of 12 who grew up on a farm in a small community in North Carolina.
Dr. Mills’ family had plenty of food with vegetables grown on the farm and meat from hogs on their farm.
Dr. Mills served in the Navy and is very proud of his service to his country.
He had special recognition of each military person in attendance.
Like many youths, Dr. Mills got into his share of trouble. After his time in the military, he, too, began to drink and do drugs to the extinct that he took his own life.
Later while battling with the aftermath, he overturned his car while driving at 115 miles per hour and was once again pronounced “dead”.
Many people prayed for Dr. Mills but no one prayed more than his mother.
Before her death, Dr. Mills was reborn in the Christian ministry where he continues to serve the Lord.
Jesus Christ made it possible for everlasting life. Man’s greatest gift is eternal life through Jesus Christ.
