Fork Presbyterian Church had their Valentine Banquet Wednesday, February 13.
They had an opening prayer and then Perry Ford showed a video on the love that Jesus shows to everyone and the importance of caring for people.
After the door prizes were given, there was a fashion show that included anyone who was wearing anything RED! The judges for this were the Honorable Judge Gayle Elvington, The Honorable Judge Steve Haywood, The Honorable Judge Sandra Perritte, and The Honorable Judge John Stanley. It was a difficult time for the judges but after getting the candidates to parade around, they gave Pam Scott the prize for having the Most Creative Valentine shirt.
Rev. Adrienne Anderson shared some funny thoughts that encouraged everyone to relax, laugh, and enjoy the moment. After the blessing for meal, everyone went into the dining area for a fantastic Valentine meal! Wanda Moody and Daphne Hayes had everything decorated in a beautiful Valentine theme.
