Mrs. Geneva Grant, 93, died Wednesday, December 12 at McLeod Hospice of Florence after an illness.
A funeral service was Monday, December 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Dillon. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family received friends at 1:00 p.m. at the church, prior to the funeral service.
She was born in Tennessee, the daughter of R. J. and Minnie Wingate. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dillon and a member of the Lake View Chapter 237 or the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years.
She is survived by her husband, James Grant, sister-in-laws, Gladys Hayes and Ellen Mae Grant; nieces, Brenda Bruce, Ann H. Mobby, and Sharon Monroe; and nephew, Allen Grant, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Lake View or First Baptist Church of Dillon.
