Mrs. Barbara Hyatt Berry, 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 15, 2018, surrounded by her family at the McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence after an illness.
Funeral services were held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home with burial in Riverside Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, November 9, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Whitt Hyatt and Rosemary Hyatt. She was the widow of the late Jack Bryan Berry. She loved little children, watching the Young & Restless, and collected angels.
Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca Berry of Dillon, Janice (Michael) Johannsen of North Myrtle Beach; son, Michael Berry of Dillon; 3 grandchildren, Chris Berry, Britney Berry, and Brittany Caulder; 2 great-grandchildren, Cody Bass & Adam Bass; sisters, Vickie Allen of Dillon & Linda Hyatt of Florence; a brother, Paul W. Hyatt (Shelby Jean) of Dillon.
She was preceded in death by her children, Timmy & Tammy Berry; sisters, Gladys Maxine “Bonnie” Carter, and Patricia Marilyn Watson; and brothers, Robert Kenneth Hyatt, Lee Hyatt and Gerald Lafon W. Hyatt.
