Pleasant Grove Baptist Church held the Homecoming Service on Sunday, November 4, at 11:00 a.m.
The many visitors, former members, and members of the church enjoyed the time of fellowship and hearing the Word.
After the Prelude, the Call to Worship was “How Great Is Our Lord” by the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church choir.
The building committee was thanked for the wonderful job of the newly redesigned kitchen and fellowship hall.
Pastor Bert Petty welcomed everyone to the service and made the announcements.
After prayer, the Fellowship Hymn was “Amazing Grace” by the entire congregation.
The Offertory Hymn was “Victory In Jesus”.
After prayer, the church received the tithes and offerings.
After the Doxology, former member Amanda Jackson blessed those in attendance with a solo.
Pastor Bert Petty welcomed the guest speaker, Mr. John Jones.
Mr. Jones spoke from Judges 17.
After the sermon, the congregation sang the Invitational Hymn “The Savior Is Waiting.
After the Benediction and Postlude, everyone was invited to enjoy fellowship and a delicious meal in the newly redesigned fellowship hall that was beautifully decorated for this occasion.
