Brooke Wright is the Gordon Elementary School Teacher Of The Year.

Wright moved to South Carolina in 2002 from Illinois and started working as an assistant and part-time waitress at Shuler’s Barbecue.
She obtained my Elementary Education degree from University of Phoenix in 2012 and her masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading from Grand Canyon University in 2015.
She is in her seventh year teaching at Gordon Elementary. She has been married to Charlie Wright for 15 years. She has a daughter, Kallie, and a son, Jarrett.
She is a pursuing her dream every day that she steps foot in the classroom.
