The Town of Latta declared a state of emergency on Sunday night at a hurricane planning meeting held at the former Latimer School.
It was also announced that if and when power does go out due to the hurricane/storm that a curfew will be in place in the town of Latta beginning at 7:00 p.m. each night until further notice.
Due to Hurricane Florence possibly making landfall on Thursday, this week’s Thursday issue of The Dillon Herald is being printed early and will be sold on streets, racks, and stores on Wednesday.
