On Saturday, August 4, beginning at 6:30 a.m., the Main Street United Methodist Men met at a residence in Little Rock to construct a handicap ramp.
This was number 75 for the group since they began building these ramps.
Two Dillon High School varsity football players, Avery Hewitt and Knox Jackson, joined the team on this Saturday to help construct this ramp. These two young men participated in the Dillon and Hartsville scrimmage game on Friday, August 3.
The Main Street United Methodist Men’s Group have completed 16 ramps up to this point this year.
Upon completion of the ramp, the group adds a cross with the number of the ramp and the date completed upon it. Additionally, the group also presents a Bible to each recipient.
