It’s Christmas In July at The Dillon Herald as we are starting now on this year’s annual Christmas drive to help less fortunate families in Dillon County this coming Christmas.
The Dillon Herald in partnership with East Dillon Baptist Church distributes toys and canned goods to less fortunate families in Dillon County.
We are starting early on this effort this year in order to help even more families this Christmas.
We are currently accepting NEW unwrapped toys at our office at 505 Highway 301 North, Dillon, and monetary donations which can be mailed to The Dillon Herald, Attn: Christmas Drive, P.O. Drawer 1288, Dillon, S.C. 29536. All monetary donations will be spent at Dillon County businesses to purchase toys.
Also, we have several wrapped boxes available for churches, businesses, organizations, etc., who would like to start collecting items for the toy drive.
If you would like a box for your location, stop by our office at 505 Highway 301 North, Dillon, and pick one up. You don’t have to return it until Christmas, and we can arrange pick up of the box and items if necessary.
We are not accepting families for the list at this time. This will begin in late November.
Please consider donating to this worthy cause and help make the holidays brighter for more families than ever.
