Services for Benjamin Edgar Hayes will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Dothan Baptist Church with burial in Catfish Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Hayes, 57, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, April 26, 1961, he was the son of the late Carol Hayes and Annie Kelly Hayes. He was employed by CDI Nuclear Plant, and was an avid horseman, and loved riding his motorcycle.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Hayes; son, Dusty (Summer) Hayes of Floyd Dale; step-daughter, Felicia (Terry) Powers of Dillon; grandchildren, Sawyer & Levi Hayes, Hunter Herring, and Makenly Powers; brother, Robert Hayes of Latta; sister, Susan (Richard) Norton of Latta.
Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles, Gerald, Lever, Larry, and Stevie Hayes; and his step-son, Brad Townsend.
