Fork Presbyterian Church and First Baptist Church had a Birthday Celebration for everyone with a birthday in January, February, March, and April.
This was at the Anderson’s barn on Sunday, April 29 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Everyone enjoyed horseshoes, volleyball, pony cart rides and shagging to music played by Carl Brunson. There was an exhibition of a State Championship walking horse ridden by David Boyce from Sumter, a mustang show horse ridden by Michael McCormick, and a cutting horse ridden by Malory Carter. Linwood Anderson drove the pony for everyone to enjoy ridding in the cart. Rocky the Raccoon made a guest appearance. There was a short ceremony and then everyone got a balloon, made a wish, and let the balloons go. There was a drawing for door prizes. Following the activities everyone enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken bog, and desserts. Jamie Strickland was in charge of grilling the hot dogs and hamburgers and the chicken bog. Everyone had a happy birthday!
