Head Start provides a successful school readiness opportunity for more than 1,000 children birth to five in the Pee Dee area. Comprehensive services include educational opportunities, health and nutrition, family support service and employment opportunity.
Early Head Start provides Full Day/Full Year services in Dillon and Marion counties for pregnant women, infants and toddlers, age zero-three.
Head Start children must be three or four on or before September 1, 2018 in both Dillon and Marion counties. Priority is given to children who are homeless, children with special needs, children in foster care and families who receive public assistance.
A complete application requires proof of income, proof of child’s birth date and immunization and insurance information.
