Alpha Alpha Chapter of Dillon, SC in conjunction with the South Carolina State Council of Alpha Ph Chi National Sorority, Inc. sponsored a Torchlighters’ Talent-A-Rama. State Council of Alpha Ph Chi National Sorority, Inc. sponsored a Torchlighters’ Talent-A-Rama. The pageant was held at Kay Branch Baptist Church in Hartsville, SC on March 10, 2018. The host chapter was Alpha Xi.
Jua’Myai Bethea competed with four other contestants, and was crowned Miss Torchlighter for 2018. She performed a phenomenal heartfelt praise dance. She is a senior at Dillon High School. Jua’Myai is a member of Miracle Temple Outreach Church, and participates in the Drama Praise Dance Ministry. Jua’Myai’s motto is, “Stay in the will of God to accomplish your purpose in life.” She is the daughter of Jerry and Charmane Bethea.
