Dale Coonce, 72, Gastonia, NC passed away Monday January 29, 2018. He was born in Lawrence County, IL on December 4, 1945 to the late Orban and Ollie Coonce. dale retired from Wix filtration after 44 years. He also served in the US Air Force. Dale is survived by his loving wife, Janet of 47 years. Son, Tony Coonce of Phoenix, AZ; daughter Tonda Coonce (Celena) of Lake View, SC; Sister Kay Rigg of Oxford, NC; and several nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by brothers, Bert Coonce, Arnum Coonce, and Dwight Coonce; Sisters Grace Davis and Frances Dunlap, Brother-n-law Deloe Rigg and Nephew Dwight Coonce Jr. The family will receive family and friends at the home on February 17, 2018, from 2-4 p.m. A memorial is to be planned at a later date in Illinois.
