Several members of the Dillon Garden Club spent a cold, rainy Thursday morning decorating the office of the Dillon House in preparation for the Christmas season. Using native plants and decorations which would have been readily available in the early twentieth century, the room came alive with the festive look and sweet smells of fresh greenery and candles.
Donna Borders, Susan Newton, Pat Laird, Carolyn Lupo, and Holly Jacobs combined imagination and talent to transform the room to Christmas long ago. If you have the chance to visit the Dillon House, you can not only visit an important place in the history of Dillon, but you may also come away with some decorating ideas. Merry Christmas from the Dillon Garden Club.
