Mrs. Shirley Jean Rogers Jackson, 72, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at her residence.
Born in Marion County, SC, on February 19, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Daisy Henderson Rogers. She was a homemaker and was of the Holiness faith. She enjoyed crafting, shopping at thrift stores and collecting dolls. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Clifton Jackson of Dillon; 4 sons, Mitchell (Elaine) Jackson of Kannapolis, NC, Leslie (Regina) Jackson of Harrisburg, NC, Clay (Jessie) Jackson of Pageland, SC and Beau (Crystal) Jackson of Lake View; 2 sisters, Bernice (Jimmy) Meekins of Lake View and Ginny Watford of Florence; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
A Memorial Service was held 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation was held from 2-3 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents listed above; her daughter, Marnie Jackson and by a sister, Eunice Rogers.
