A person was shot in Dillon on Saturday afternoon and is now deceased, according to Chief David Lane of the City of Dillon Police Department.
The victim died at the hospital, Lane said. The name of the victim has not yet been released.
Lane said there is a suspect, but no arrests have been made at this time.
