On Saturday, July 15th, members of the Glove and Trowel Garden Club attended the 2017 Garden Club of South Carolina Expo in Columbia, South Carolina.
Garden club members from all across the state attend the expo every year to gather information on state and national projects.
This year we had the pleasure of meeting the new GCSC President, Donna Donnelly from Elloree, the new Coastal District Director, Allyson Hirsh from Myrtle Beach and the new Coastal Co-Director, Susan Carter from Latta. A wonderful program on identifying birds in your garden was presented by Mr. Ton Pray, a Master Naturalist from Clemson.
Club members attending the expo were Becky Lyell, Linda Dutton, Julie LeChette, Molly Pittman – President, and Julie Sawyer.
