THE DILLON HERALD recently completed a blanket and stuffed animal drive for the Latta Rescue Squad, who is celebrating their 50th year of service. During Hurricane Matthew, the Latta Rescue Squad lost their blankets and stuffed animals. Blankets are used for elderly and other patients. The stuffed animals are used to comfort and calm children involved in emergencies. We appreciate the public’s support of this drive. More than 100 items were collected.
