The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and charged a Dillon man with attempted murder for the shooting that occurred on Sunday, May 21, 2017 on Kinon Street in Dillon, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Willie Demond Eagle, age 41, of Dillon turned himself in to authorities.
The incident occurred on Sunday just before 8:00 p.m., according to the initial report provided by the Sheriff’s Office. The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle that had been shot on Kinon Street in Dillon, according to Captain Cliff Arnete of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
While officers were enroute to Kinon Street, they were notified that there was a victim from a gunshot wound at the emergency room at McLeod Medical Center. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the male victim had been shot while in a vehicle on Kinon Street.
