On Sunday, April 16, 2017, the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Old Magnolia Road in Latta where an individual had been shot at, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
According to an incident report by Deputy Art Quick an individual was walking on Old Magnolia Road in Latta and a vehicle drove past the victim and turned around and began to fire shots at the victim. There was a residence on Old Magnolia Road that was struck by the bullets during the incident causing damage to the vinyl siding. The victim stated the vehicle was a black in color two-door car.
