According to Sheriff Major Hulon of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, Sherry Dillard, Christopher Haselden, Johnathan Jacobs, Christy Lynn Small, and Kevin Cox all pled guilty January 30, 2017, in Federal Court in Columbia to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute oxycodone. Leslie Long previously entered a guilty plea in this case. All defendants face up to 20 years in federal prison and a potential $1,000,000.00 fine.
Agencies responsible for the six-year drug operation being dismantled include the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, DEA, Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshals Service, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, and the SC DHEC Bureau of Drug Control.
