On Sunday, January 29, the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office responded to Highway 38 in Sellers in reference to the discovery of a body, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.  
Deputies responded to the location for further investigation and determined that there was a body.
SLED Crime Scene was called to assist at the scene. The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, Coroner’s Office and Sled are investigating the case. The identity and cause of death remain under investigation.
