Dillon School District Four was awarded a USDA-RUS grant for video conferencing. This grant will help the district to:
-Address persistently low literacy rates at every grade level.
-Expand limited content and course offerings
-Reintroduce elective, non-CORE course offerings
-Improve poor student performance on College & Career Readiness indicators
-Improve student low student performance on college entrance  exams
– Expand on-campus Dual Credit, AP, and higher-level course offerings
– Increase the below-average college rate of graduating seniors
-Provide programs that support students and their families as they plan for, apply to, and enroll in post-secondary degree programs.
-Installing videoconferencing end points at each site will enable schools to connect to one another to share content, staff, and resources.
The project technology will also enable schools to connect to resources outside of the district. The grant award is for $378,329.00
