Treyon McLellan of Dillon has been charged with two counts of murder and arson second degree by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office and SLED for the deaths of Ja’Uan Johnson and Nicolette Blue, both of Dillon, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest comes as a result of an ongoing investigation by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, Dillon County Coroner’s Office, and SLED.
The investigation revealed that the victims did not die as a result of the fire.
The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by SLED and the City of Dillon Police Department with the arrest.
According to the initial report on the incident, on Wednesday, October 12, the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a structure fire on Nelson Drive in the Riverdale Community of Dillon in reference to two individuals at the residence who were deceased. Upon arrival of law enforcement Dillon County Fire Department Station 1 and 4 were on the scene of a structure fire where two individuals were found inside the residence dead.
The fire department was dispatched around 2:00 a.m.
