On Friday afternoon around 1:30 p.m., the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office and the Dillon Police Department responded to a shooting incident on Highway 301 North and Stafford Road in Dillon, according to Captain Cliff Arnette. Arnette said the call was in reference to an individual that had been shot while operating his vehicle. The male victim was transported to McLeod Medical Center in Dillon with non-lifethreatening injuries.
