The people of Rowland prepared over 2,000 meals at the First Baptist Church last week.
The meals were given to members of the community, linemen, and DOT workers that were serving in the area.
The Rowland community came together on Sunday for a community prayer service and lunch.
Pastors from six Rowland churches shared about the ways in which God was working through the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew and the congregation shared prayer and communion in small groups.
Thank you to all of those who donated, cooked, served, planned, and shared in this community this week.
It was a blessing to serve and to be served.
