(10/1-3:19 p.m.) The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene of a murder on Oakey Point Road in Latta, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, Dillon County EMS, Latta Police, and Latta Rescue Squad responded to the scene.
One person is dead. A second person is seriously injured and in critical condition.
SLED Crime Scene is assisting at the scene.
