A Dillon man died from injuries that he received in a wreck on Saturday, August 6, according to Coroner Donnie Grimsley.
Grimsley identified the man as Harvey McDonald, a 52-year-old black male, from Dillon.
Lance Corporal Judd Jones of the S.C. Highway Patrol said that McDonald was driving west on Pleasant Hill Road in his 2003 Chevrolet. he said that the car ran off the right side of the road, and then came back across the road, and the went off the left side into some trees. The crash occurred at approximately 3:10 p.m. He was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
