The Town Of Latta hosted a prayer breakfast for members of the community and Latta law enforcement on Wednesday morning. Town Administrator Jarett Taylor said that many in Latta are concerned about the future direction of the country and some of the events in recent days. He said it was suggested that a prayer breakfast would be a good way to bring people together. Rev. William Walker of St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church offered a prayer and brief comments were made by Rev. Marty Nason of Latta United Methodist Church. Those in attendance enjoyed a delicious breakfast and fellowship with fellow citizens. More photos appear on page 8A. (Photos by Betsy Finklea/The Dillon Herald)
