Royal Panthera, LLC, a company that specializes in the ownership and development of hotels and restaurants, has taken first steps toward investing $6 million in a Holiday Inn Express and Suites. .
With properties throughout the Pee Dee Region, Royal Panthera, LLC intends on constructing a 76 room upscale hotel utilizing the Holiday Inn Express and Suites brand which will create at least 15-30 jobs.
The new hotel will include suites, indoor heated pool, meeting rooms, fitness center and business center.
Construction for the new facility will begin July of 2016 and will be complete July of 2017. The company is working in partnership with the Dillon County Economic Development Office, which is assisting Royal Panthera, LLC by identifying sites, obtaining necessary permits and coordinating with the utilities. Together, they have received approval to construct a facility in Dillon County, which is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2017.
The new hotel will be located off of I-95 Exit 181 in Latta, S.C. and will be able to accommodate 76 guests at full capacity.
The new hotel is ideal for family or business travelers, conferences, events or business meetings. Royal Panthera, LLC welcomes everyone.

Senator Kent Williams, Senate District 30, also commented on the new hotel coming to the 181 exit in the Latta area.
“Travelers along the I-95 corridor now have an opportunity to stay in an upscale hotel, and have the chance to experience the hometown feel of a classic southern town.  This new facility will provide jobs, opportunities for local meeting space and a destination hotel for visitors to Dillon County.  It will be ideal for those traveling to Dillon County for recreational sporting events, business and leisure travel,” he said.
