A burglary was reported at Daniels Convenience Store at 959 Oakland Road, Hamer, on Friday, June 3rd, according to a report by PFC Richard Lee and Officer Luke Brunson of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
The deputies were dispatched due to the burglar alarm going off.
According to the report, when the alarm company called the store, the suspects answered, but did not say anything.
Lee said when he arrived he could see that the front door glass was broken. The report said that the suspects made entry by pulling the gate off the front door and breaking the glass. Once inside, the suspects went behind the counter and took numerous cigars and cigarette packs. It also appeared that they took lottery tickets.
