Mount Calvary Baptist Church held the annual Easter sunrise service on Sunday, March 27, at 7:00 a.m.
Due to the inclement weather services were held inside the Mount Calvary Family Life Center.
After the welcome and opening prayer, Gene Tanner blessed the largest crowd in some years with a solo. Debbie Hill also performed.
The congregation particpated in “There Is Power In The Blood”, Nothing But The Blood”, “At The Cross”, “There Is A Fountain”, and “All Hail King Jesus”.
The congregation was blessed with another solo followed by the special Easter sunrise message by Dr. Greg Hyler who text came from John 19.
After the benediction and blessing by Dr. Greg Hyler, everyone enjoyed a delicious breakfast and fellowship.

Mount Calvary Baptist Church held the Easter morning worship service at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 27.
Ms. Linda McKenzie  and Mrs. Phyllis Price conducted the prelude to worship before the large crowd of worshippers.
After the opening prayer and welcoming, the congregation participated in singing the “Revelation Song” accompanied by the guitar played by Dustin Mew that was followed by the singing of “Jesus! What A Friend To Sinners” accompanied by Ms. Linda McKenzie on the organ and Mrs. Phyllis Price on the piano.
The singing of the congregation of “Mighty To Save” and “You Are My All In All” was accompanied by the guitar played by Dustin Mew.
Debbie Hill blessed the congregation to a solo.
Dr. Greg Hyler’s Easter sermon was from Luke 23: 33-43, John 19:25-2, Luke 8:2, and John 20:1 and 11-18.
At the conclusion of the sermon, everyone participated in “Jesus, Keep Me Near The Cross”. The benediction was held, and the postlude was by Ms. Linda McKenzie and Mrs. Phyllis Price.
