Dear Editor:
On October 8, 2015, around 3:00 a.m., my son, Robert Richardson got into a bad car accident in the Dillon County area. My son was taken to McLeod Medical Center in Dillon and then he was airlifted to McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
The Richardson family was not informed by the hospital, but around 9:00 a.m. my phone went off. The young man asked me if I had a son. I said yes, I have two of them. He asked me my son’s name. I told him; he then said I needed to get to the hospital.
Hats off to Trooper Bobby Faircloth, who did not stop until he informed my family of the accident. Not only that, he also went to Florence to check on him.
