Latta High School celebrated Homecoming 2015 October 12 – 16.  The week was celebrated with a variety of school sponsored events.  Throughout the week students dressed in a variety of spirit attire.  The best day was Thursday, October 15th.  Students in each class decided on a theme for their class.  Some classes dressed as robots and zombies, while others wore pink to support breast cancer awareness month.
On Tuesday, the Homecoming Committee sponsored a Powder Puff Game.  The senior and freshmen girls squared off against the junior and sophomore girls in two hand touch football.  
This year, the senior and freshmen team beat the junior and sophomore team in a shut-out victory.
On Friday, the students attended a pep rally.  The homecoming court was introduced and the annual Kiss the Goat winners were announced.  Seniors Madison Granger and Jackson Williams and football coach Brandon Proctor were the three lucky winners!
During the halftime ceremonies, Miss Iyonna McKenzie was crowned as homecoming queen. Homecoming celebration concluded Friday night with a school-sponsored dance.
