A collection was held last week to aid the flood victims throughout the state of South Carolina.
Donations came from across the Dillon County community. Herald Office Supply delivered the items to Shandon Baptist Church in Columbia.
Various items were collected including bottled water, diapers, toiletries and non-perishable food items.
Anna McLaurin, who spearheaded the project said, “I just didn’t want to look at pictures and not do anything about it. We wanted to help those in need.”
