Little Rock Parish (Bowling Green UM Church, McCoy Chapel UM Church and New Holly UM Church) Vacation Bible School was held June 22 – 24,  at McCoy Chapel United Methodist Church.  The theme was “G-Force: God’s Love in Action”. The main Bible verse for G-Force VBS was Acts 17:28a, “In God we live, move, and exist.” A life with God is one of movement! Each session highlighted an action word to spark a way to show God’s unstoppable love.  Each evening everyone gathered in the sanctuary for devotion.  After devotion students were dismissed to their classes.  Teachers for the classes included: Arjie Graves, Evang. Mildred Tarte, Shymyra McCormick, Min. Derrick McInnis, Wanda McClain, Min. Noah Manning and Elder John Martin Graves.  Students also enjoyed art class with LaMecisa Bethea, music class with Talya Harrison and Linda Harrison, and snack time with the VBS kitchen staff.  After classes everyone gathered back in the sanctuary to review what was learned.  The coordinators for the Little Rock Parish Vacation Bible School were Denise Whittington and Mary B. Mack.  Rev. Ronald McCall is pastor for the Little Rock Parish. (Photographs by Christine McCoy.)
