The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office released last Thursday the following information about arrests made as part of an undercover investigation that occurred earlier this year.
According to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about possible human/sex trafficking taking place at the Osaka Spa, located in Dillon County. As a result of the complaint, the Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation at Osaka Spa.
A two-month long undercover operation was conducted. As a result of the undercover operation, two separate arrests were made for prostitution.
On March 3, 2015, one person was arrested for prostituion. Arrested was Chong Y. Williams, age 63, of Sewell, New Jersey.
On April 9, 2015, three people were arrested for prostitution—Chin Son An, age 51, of Scottsdale, Arizona; Chong Y. Williams, age 63, of Sewell, New Jersey; and Jong J. Adams, age 66, of Junction City, Kansas.
The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office was assisted with this operation by the Dillon Police Department, Latta Police Department, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
Sgt. Robert Bucy was the lead investigator in this case.
