The Dillon County Council approved the third reading – to develop a jointly owned and operated Industrial/Business Park in conjunction with Marion County, Industrial/Business Park to be geographically located in Dillon County and established pursuant to Sec. 4-1-170 of The Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, as amended; to provide for a written agreement with Marion County to provide for the expenses of the park, the percentage of revenue application, and the distribution of fees in lieu of ad valorem taxation; and other matters related thereto. County Attorney Ken DuBose explained ordinance involves adding property of Project Geometric, which occupies in Latta. Chairman T. F. Finklea read ordinance and title. Councilman Archie Scott motioned to have third reading. Councilman Coward seconded, and all were in favor.
