The Dillon Christian Warriors had another busy week of spring sports action.

In junior varsity soccer, the Warriors took a 1-0 loss from The King’s Academy on Tuesday night and will be back in action on Friday, April 17 at St. Anthony and before returning home to host Thomas Hart on Monday, April 20.

In B-Team baseball action, the Warriors earned an 11-7 win over Robert E. Lee Academy at home on Thursday but fell 13-2 to the Cavaliers on the road on Friday. Then on Monday, the B-Team Warriors hosted Carolina Academy for an 18-2 win.

The B-Team Warriors are now 9-1 on the season.

The Warriors have just three games left in the regular season, beginning with Wallace Middle School tonight at 5:30 p.m. On Monday, the Warriors will travel to Blenheim Middle School for a 5:30 p.m. game, and on Friday, April 24, they will wrap the season at The King’s Academy at 5:00 p.m.

In varsity baseball action, the Warriors fell 7-3 to Carolina Academy on Monday night and were shut out 15-0 by Florence Christian on Tuesday. Nick Smith took the loss on the mound, giving up three hits, three walks, and nine runs in two and one-third innings.

The Warriors are now 3-5-3 overall with a 0-3 record in the region. They will be back in action on Friday at Marlboro Academy at 5:00 p.m. and will be back at home to host Pee Dee Academy on Tuesday.

The Warrior golfers will also be in action today at Marlboro Academy at 4:00 p.m. The Region Tournament is set to begin next Tuesday at Traces Golf Club, with the State Tournament scheduled to begin on Monday, April 27 at Coastal Carolina.
