Dillon’s Lady Wildcats hosted Mullins on Tuesday night for a softball double header, earning a 23-0 win over the Auctioneers in game one and a 15-0 win in game two.
In game one, Dillon picked up 15 runs in the first inning and added four in the second and four in the third to cap the win.
Tiffany Dwyer picked up the win on the mound, pitching all three innings for a no-hitter with no walks and eight outs.
At bat, Tyieshah Jones went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI; Shaquailla German hit a solo home run and picked up three RBI; Erin Bailey hit a double; and Johnna Rogers hit a triple. Every Lady Wildcat scored at least one run in the win.
In game two, Dillon picked up three runners in the first inning and 12 in the second to seal the 15-0 win.
Johnna Rogers got the win on the mound, pitching three innings for one hit and one walk, striking out seven.
Every Wildcat that batted scored at least once, and Brittany Miller led the team, going 2-for-3 with a triple.
The Lady Wildcats improved to 11-2 overall and 6-0 in Region 8-2A. Dillon leads the region, with Aynor in second at 6-1, followed by Waccamaw at 4-3; Loris, 2-4; Marion, 1-6; and Mullins, 0-6.
Dillon was scheduled to be at Hartsville on Wednesday and will be back at home on Friday to host Waccamaw at 6:30 p.m. Next week, the Wildcats will be on the road to face Aynor on Tuesday, Marion on Wednesday, and Waccamaw on Thursday to wrap up region play.
