The Dillon Christian School Warriors fell 54-45 to the Marlboro Academy Dragons in overtime on Monday night as the two teams played for a spot in the SCISA Region 3-2A Tournament.

The Warriors battled the Dragons right up until the end of the fourth quarter, tying the game 45-45 with 35 seconds left on the clock to send the game into overtime. But Marlboro shut out Dillon Christian 9-0 in the fifth period to seal the win and secure a spot in the tournament.

Marlboro advanced to face Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach on Tuesday night, falling 67-34 to the Saints, who are undefeated in the region. In the other tournament game, Florence Christian downed Pee Dee Academy 63-52 to advance to the conference championship scheduled for Friday night.

In the girls region tournament, Christian Academy defeated Florence Christian 33-28 on Tuesday night, and Marlboro Academy defeated Pee Dee Academy 41-35.
