Michael Craig Moody, 64, died February 3, 2015. He was the son of Helen Belden Moody and the late Martin Craig Moody.
Michael graduated from Dillon High School and continued his education at Clemson University where he received his masters and doctorate in Math and Physics. He moved to Tampa, FL where he was employed as a computer programer for Reflectone, a company that manufactured airplane cockpit simulators. He retired and moved back to Dillon where he obtained his Land Surveyors license and worked with his father. After his father’s death he inherited the land surveying business which he ran for several years.
He is survived by his daughter, Given Moody, his mother, his brother, Vol Moody, his sister, Holly L. Moody, his sister in law Jan Moody and several nieces, one nephew and one great nephew.
A graveside memorial will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at his mother’s home, 106 N. 16th Ave., Dillon.
