Services for Virginia Ward Morrison will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Carolina Presbyterian Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home of Dillon.

Mrs. Morrison, 86, died Friday, December 12, 2014 at Conway Medical Center.

Born in Guilford County, NC, September 20, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Ward and Vera Pitts Ward. She was a member of Carolina Presbyterian Church, and was retired from the South Carolina Health Department. She was the widow of Donald Duncan Morrison.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna Morrison Walker (Steve) of Buford, GA, Karen Morrison Holland (Bill), and Katherine Morrison Hardwick (Thad), both of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Virginia Lee Walker, William Wayne Walker, Katherine Nicole Holland, Allison Glenn Holland, and Natalie Anne Hardwick; great-grandson, Kyler Branton Nichols; sisters, Frances McRae of Laurinburg, NC, and Doris Hanner of Greensboro, NC.
