Brittany Michelle Hunt, age 17, passed away on December 6, 2014 in Dillon, SC.  
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pee Dee Baptist Church Cemetery in the Carolina Community.  Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon, SC, on February 14, 1997, she was the daughter of Carl Michael Hunt and Angela M. Hunt.  Brittany loved life and will be missed by her family and friends.  She was always smiling and giving an encouraging word to those around her.
Survivors include her father, Carl Michael Hunt (Loriann); mother, Angela M. Hunt; brothers, Charles Hunt and Joshua Hunt; son, Preston Jace Blackmon; grandmother, Patricia Scott; special aunt, Barbara Walker; and special friends, Chris Driggers, Leslie Hayes, and Donna Butler.
Brittany was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Joseph (Stump) Hunt and Jimmy Lee Scott; and grandmother, Flonnie Mae Hunt.
