The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW) where the Presiding Bishop is Bishop Charles H. Ellis, III held elections and nominated Minister Morris L. White, II a native of Latta, SC as the South Carolina State Council Young People President. Minister Morris White’s job is to oversee the State Youth Departments in South Carolina and also parts of North Carolina for the next four years and possibly eight, to operate in the spirit of Unity amongst the young people, to encourage and give Godly counsel. Minister Morris White gives all credit to Jesus Christ. When asked what are his plans for his term in office, Minister Morris White replied, “to get as many young people and seasoned saints ready for the return of Jesus Christ according to Acts 2:38, while emphasizing daring to be different.”
Minister Morris White, II was baptized in Jesus’ name on August 22, 1998 by the Late Elder Charles W. Berry and received the Holy Ghost thereafter. Minister Morris White is known for his fiery and seasoned style of preaching and his compassion for souls for the kingdom. Minister Morris White is the son of Ms. Beverly White of Latta, SC and Mr. Morris White, Sr. of Sellers, SC, and the grandson of Ms. Queen E. Thompson of Latta, SC and the late Willie S. Thompson. Minister Morris White is a faithful and dedicated member of the New Bethel Apostolic Church, PAW of Dillon, SC, where he serves as Assistant Minister, Praise and Worship leader, musician and choir member.
