A Harvest Festival was held in Latta on Saturday as the town celebrated autumn. The day opened with a harvest prayer given by Paul Gasque. Various vendors were on hand with homemade goods, fall decor, and more.

The library staff held a special book sale at the library and conducted storytelling in Old Vidalia School. The Dillon County Museum and the old Latta Post Office were also open for tours. Latta High School art students provided free face painting. Many people enjoyed taking a look at the antique tractors on display and a hayride and cornhole were part of the fun. It was a great time of fun and fellowship.
