The Dillon County Council proclaimed National Infant Mortality Awareness Month at their September meeting.
“The National Infant Mortality Awareness Month campaign has been designed to increase people’s awareness of the high rates of infant deaths, and is led by the Pee Dee Healthy Start, Inc.”
Pee Dee Healthy Start, Inc. has provided critical services to 1,269 women and infants in Dillon County.
