Latta’s JV Vikings earned a 14-0 shut out win over Green Sea-Floyds on Thursday night in junior varsity football action in Latta.

Tim Jones scored the first run for the Vikings, scooping up a punt and running 45 yards for the touchdown. JR McClam scored the two-point conversion. Dylan Brewer threw a 30-yard pass to Trey Anderson for the second touchdown of the evening, but the conversion attempt failed, leaving the Vikings ahead 14-0.

The Latta defense held off the Trojans to maintain the win and put Latta up to 3-0 on the season.

Latta will host Lake View’s junior varsity Wild Gators this Thursday, October 2, at 6:00 p.m. Make plans to attend to support our local JV teams!
